Responsibilities
- Lead technical work on an Agile Scrum team across solution design, development, testing, code reviews, deployment, and continuous improvement.
- Design and implement scalable cloud-native software using service-oriented architecture and modern engineering practices.
- Develop software components and services from business requirements, architecture, and detailed design specifications.
- Automate deployment, operational, and maintenance strategies for Windows and Linux workloads across AWS and private cloud environments.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, product owners, analysts, quality analysts, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
- Establish coding standards, design guidelines, development practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Resolve escalated customer support issues through technical expertise and root cause analysis.
- Participate in production on-call support and contribute to operational excellence.
- Mentor engineers, lead technical initiatives, and support compliance with corporate policies, security standards, quality expectations, and ethical practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field plus seven years of software development experience, or a high school diploma/GED plus twelve years of relevant experience.
- At least seven years of experience designing, developing, and supporting full-stack applications using Java and/or C#.
- At least five years of experience developing modern web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, HTML, and CSS.
- At least three years of hands-on experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
- Demonstrated ability to design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-scale software in Agile environments.
- Preferred experience includes REST, JSON, XML, GraphQL, microservices, micro frontends, AWS services, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD platforms, and relational or NoSQL databases.
- Preferred experience includes Angular, React, PrimeNG, PowerShell, Bash, Python, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, Git, and AI-assisted development tools.
- Knowledge of user interface design, accessibility, application and cloud security, network architecture, performance optimization, healthcare workflows, regulations, interoperability, HL7, and FHIR.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and mentoring skills.
