Base Salary
$160k - $214k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze, craft, and develop end-to-end technical solutions for public and private cloud deployments.
- Translate customer needs and technology opportunities into technical offerings, solutions, and proposals.
- Scope and define cloud solution offerings and deliverables.
- Analyze software-defined network and NFV-I deployments, define business requirements, and participate in risk analysis and mitigation planning.
- Develop technical presentations and proposals, conduct customer presentations, and support solution deployments.
- Use OpenStack, SDN, NFV, network optimization, and network design knowledge to address tenant bandwidth and quality-of-service requirements.
- Provide feedback to R&D and participate in knowledge transfer, documentation, and information sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Seven years of experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect, Systems Engineer, or closely related role.
- Seven years of experience with Python, Perl, shell scripting, server networking, storage networking, and systems software administration.
- Five years of experience with cloud computing, OpenStack, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of telecommunications, NFV-I, software-defined networking, end-to-end network-function information flow, quality of service, and network optimization.
