Base Salary
$190k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead on-site discovery and own production deployments for health system partners.
- Write production code connecting to and extracting data from Epic, Athena, FHIR APIs, HL7 feeds, and other customer EHR systems.
- Configure the Adonis platform and deliver end-to-end customer solutions through production deployment.
- Translate customer workflows, business ideas, and KPI requirements into technical implementations.
- Work directly with customer IT teams, DBAs, technical analysts, and other stakeholders.
- Debug database queries, API connections, data pipelines, and platform configuration issues.
- Build tooling and automation to improve deployment efficiency across enterprise customers.
- Prototype and develop web applications and backend systems using Python, TypeScript/React, and PostgreSQL.
- Influence the product roadmap by communicating field insights to Data Platform and Engineering teams.
- Maintain code quality through testing, reviews, and software engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Customer Success, Sales, and Solutions Consultants.
- Travel 25–50% to customer sites.
Requirements
- Eight or more years of software engineering experience with strong full-stack capabilities.
- Production fluency in Python and TypeScript for building scalable systems.
- Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries, performance optimization, and navigating large database schemas.
- Experience building integrations with external systems and working with customer data environments.
- Ability to turn ambiguous business and product ideas into engineering solutions and ship quickly.
- Clear communication skills and experience working directly with enterprise customer IT teams.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across unfamiliar systems.
- Healthcare domain knowledge, including RCM workflows, clinical data, and healthcare data standards.
- Preferred experience with Epic/Cerner, FHIR R4, HL7 v2, or other healthcare data standards.
- Preferred experience at healthcare provider organizations or health IT vendors.
- Preferred forward deployed or field engineering experience at B2B companies.
