Base Salary
$152k - $209k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with the sales team to help customers understand how Databricks can solve business problems.
- Provide technical leadership as customers evaluate and adopt Databricks.
- Consult on big data architecture, implement proofs of concept for strategic projects, support data science and machine learning projects, and validate cloud and third-party integrations.
- Build and present reference architectures, how-to materials, and demo applications.
- Promote Databricks open-source projects through meetups, conferences, and webinars.
- Travel to customers within the assigned region.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting role.
- Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems.
- Ability to program in and debug at least one of Python, Scala, Java, SQL, or R.
- Experience supporting public sector clients.
- Experience building solutions with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Expertise in data engineering technologies, data warehousing, or data science and machine learning technologies.
- A degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or Operations Research is desired.
- Secret security clearance or willingness to obtain one.
