Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement enterprise applications using Java, Spring, and Quarkus.
- Build and maintain scalable, secure, cloud-native microservices.
- Design and implement REST APIs with Swagger/OpenAPI documentation.
- Define software architectures, components, layers, services, and design patterns.
- Implement containerized solutions with Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Develop and integrate services using Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure API Management, Azure Application Gateway, and Azure Data Factory.
- Design and optimize NoSQL database storage and query strategies.
- Apply development, performance, observability, stability, and scalability practices in production environments.
- Participate in technical reviews, incident resolution, and continuous improvement of technology platforms.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business objectives.
Requirements
- More than five years of professional experience.
- Strong development experience with Java and JDK versions 8, 11, and 17.
- Advanced knowledge of Spring Framework and Quarkus.
- Experience developing REST APIs and documenting them with Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Proficiency with Maven and Gradle.
- Hands-on Docker experience, including images, containers, volumes, networks, and service composition.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and Azure PaaS services.
- Experience with Azure API Management, Azure Application Gateway, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and Azure Data Factory.
- Knowledge of software architecture, layered design, components, services, and patterns such as SAGA and Cache Aside.
- Experience designing and modeling NoSQL databases, including tables, indexes, and query optimization.
- Understanding of data consistency and ACID versus BASE models.
- Knowledge of Data Warehouse, OLAP versus OLTP, DataMart, and Data Vault concepts.
- Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering practices, including APM, IaaS, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Ability to work in agile environments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Java, Azure, or Kubernetes certifications are desirable.
- Experience with cloud application modernization and migration, CI/CD, observability, monitoring, distributed application optimization, and DevSecOps is desirable.
