Base Salary
$215k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the technical roadmap for Crusoe's network automation platform.
- Design and maintain the authoritative data model for network configuration.
- Build and maintain declarative, model-driven configuration systems using Python and related tools.
- Contribute to telemetry collection and configuration management strategies.
- Develop event-driven auto-remediation systems for fault detection and resolution.
- Enhance the observability platform with telemetry, metrics, and alerting systems.
- Collaborate with Network Architecture to ensure automation-first designs.
Requirements
- 8+ years of network engineering experience focused on production network automation.
- Production-quality software engineering skills in Python or Go.
- Hands-on experience with model-driven automation tools like gNMI and OpenConfig.
- Experience with network source of truth platforms such as NetBox or Nautobot.
- Strong knowledge of Arista and/or Juniper in data center environments.
- Solid understanding of BGP, EVPN-VXLAN, and LLDP at scale.
- Experience with observability platforms using Prometheus and Grafana.
