Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline the software development lifecycle.
- Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.
- Implement security best practices throughout development and deployment processes.
- Set up and maintain monitoring systems to proactively identify potential issues.
- Collaborate with the incident response team to address security incidents.
- Foster collaboration between development, operations, and security teams.
- Communicate updates on DevOps, security, and compliance initiatives.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of DevOps processes and security measures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, and security roles.
- Proficiency in Linux system administration and command-line operations.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and Shell scripting.
- Proficient in managing and securing Cloud services.
- In-depth knowledge of Linux-based networking and troubleshooting.
- Proficient with containerization and orchestration tools in AWS environments.
- Strong understanding of security best practices for AWS environments.
- Familiarity with observability platforms and tools.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services.
- Experience with IAC platforms and tools.
- Understanding of identity management protocols and standards.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional are a plus.
