Responsibilities
- Champion engineering initiatives and foster high ownership, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence.
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable enterprise applications, distributed systems, backend services, microservices, APIs, and platform components.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, 5-whys, and root cause analyses.
- Identify process and pipeline improvements that increase team efficiency.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and handle customer-impacting escalations.
- Drive technical initiatives from design through production deployment while prioritizing scalability, reliability, security, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in software engineering, including architecting, developing, and delivering scalable enterprise applications and distributed systems.
- Strong expertise in C# and the modern .NET ecosystem, including .NET 10, with knowledge of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, design patterns, clean code, and software architecture.
- Experience developing secure, maintainable, high-performance, and scalable applications and leveraging AI-assisted development tools and practices.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and communication protocols, including TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, gRPC, and distributed application architectures.
- Experience with Windows Server and Linux environments, troubleshooting, performance optimization, source control with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
- Experience using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL, including data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Front-end experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular, or React is desirable but not required.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across global geographies and drive initiatives through production deployment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
