Responsibilities
- Build, design, and architect new capabilities for Jitterbit’s cloud application products.
- Develop robust, scalable, distributed systems with full lifecycle ownership and 24x7x365 operational requirements.
- Build multi-tenant SaaS applications using cloud-based architectures and microservices.
- Develop across frontend and backend technologies including Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS3, HTML, Node.js, Java, and Go.
- Deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes and work with AWS services such as DynamoDB, S3, and CloudFront.
- Collaborate with engineers, product management, operations, Distinguished Engineers, and Architects.
- Mentor other engineers and make data-driven decisions in a distributed remote team.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience building large-scale distributed applications.
- Strong experience building multi-tenant SaaS applications.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Experience with microservices and cloud-based architectures and design patterns.
- Excellent JavaScript, CSS, and HTML authoring skills.
- Proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Node.js, or Go.
- Familiarity with application deployment via Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as DynamoDB, S3, or CloudFront.
- Experience with DataDog APM and logging is a bonus.
- Experience developing and releasing with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions is a bonus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a distributed team.
