Responsibilities
- Design and configure hybrid network solutions, including load balancers, firewalls, interconnectivity, and routing across production environments.
- Design, build, and operate cloud and on-premise environments using Infrastructure as Code.
- Automate administration of VMware, Linux, and Windows servers and virtual hosts.
- Deploy observability and monitoring tools to measure service levels and improve system performance and availability.
- Respond to and resolve production incidents, contribute to postmortems, and implement infrastructure and application improvements.
- Research and deploy technologies that improve engineering velocity, reliability, and performance.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Platform Engineering.
- Experience with Terraform, Google Cloud Platform, Ansible, Kubernetes, and the Prometheus stack.
- Preferred experience with Python, PowerShell, Mimir, Splunk, Loki, Grafana, Cloudflare, and general networking.
