Responsibilities
- Spearhead the architecture and system design of Agoda’s next-generation front-end systems
- Build AI-driven chat experiences for the AI Assistant, trip planning, discovery, customer support, and proactive recommendations
- Drive front-end performance, accessibility, usability, and scalability
- Mentor engineers and serve as a front-end subject-matter expert
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, product managers, product teams, and business stakeholders
- Define technical standards and uphold privacy, reliability, and responsible AI practices
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building and leading rich web applications at scale
- Deep mastery of JavaScript and TypeScript
- Expertise with modern front-end frameworks including React, Next, and Vue
- Experience building robust, high-performance SPA/SSR front ends and optimizing core web vitals
- Strong background in team leadership, system design, and stakeholder influence
- Experience with A/B experimentation, international environments, or travel/e-commerce products is a bonus
