Responsibilities
- Lead full-stack architecture and system design for features used by millions of customers
- Design and build AI-driven chat experiences for Agoda’s AI Assistant, trip planning, discovery, customer support, and proactive recommendations
- Own complex end-to-end systems and mentor high-performing teams
- Guide technical decisions across several engineering squads and drive engineering excellence
- Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver cohesive, user-centered solutions
- Experiment with AI capabilities while maintaining privacy, reliability, and responsible AI standards
Requirements
- At least 8 years of software engineering experience in web, backend, or full-stack development
- Expertise in Java, Kotlin, .NET, JavaScript, and TypeScript, with frameworks such as Node.js and React
- Experience leading end-to-end architecture for high-traffic platforms
- Demonstrated technical mentorship, cross-team collaboration, and ability to solve ambiguous problems
