Base Salary
$162k - $186k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build web features using React and TypeScript.
- Partner with product and design teams to create polished, accessible web experiences.
- Collaborate with backend, iOS, and Android engineers to maintain consistent feature behavior and data across platforms.
- Own features from technical design through launch and iteration.
- Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and participate in code and design reviews.
- Contribute to shared web patterns and best practices as the team scales.
- Troubleshoot and resolve web application bugs, performance issues, and reliability issues.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional front-end or web engineering experience, including shipping features in a large-scale production consumer web application.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and React or a comparable modern framework, including component-driven architecture, state management, and data-fetching patterns such as GraphQL.
- Experience collaborating with backend, iOS, and Android engineers to integrate APIs and maintain cross-platform consistency.
- Experience delivering features from technical design through launch and iteration with increasing scope and independence.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills and a willingness to seek and act on feedback.
- Ability to work through ambiguity on a newly formed team.
- Understanding of web performance, accessibility including WCAG, responsive design, and CI/deployment practices for a large-scale consumer site.
