Responsibilities
- Improve reliability, availability, performance, and operational resilience across retail technology applications, infrastructure, and store platforms.
- Lead incident response, problem management, change management, release readiness, production support, and service transition activities.
- Develop automation, observability, and monitoring solutions to improve operational efficiency and identify service issues proactively.
- Analyze service health, capacity, performance, and reliability metrics to drive continuous improvement and business continuity.
- Partner with product, engineering, infrastructure, security, and business teams to deliver stable and scalable technology services.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Systems Reliability Engineering, application support, infrastructure engineering, production operations, or a related technology discipline.
- Experience managing or supporting enterprise-scale applications and infrastructure in complex business environments.
- Hands-on experience with incident management, problem management, change management, and production support practices.
- Experience with observability and monitoring platforms such as New Relic or similar APM tools.
- Experience with automation and scripting tools such as Python, PowerShell, CI/CD platforms, or cloud technologies.
- Experience with retail platforms and store technologies including Xstore, Xoffice, Point of Sale, ORCE, MPOS, RFID, omnichannel systems, retail store systems, networks, and infrastructure.
- Experience with enterprise platforms, APIs, middleware, Azure, databases, and endpoints.
- Experience with reliability engineering, major incident management, problem management, change management, SRE, and resilience practices.
- Experience with operational governance, including ITIL, security, SOX, risk, and vendor management.
