Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of significant, technically challenging compiler and system software efforts across major product areas.
- Define architectural standards, tools, and methodologies to ensure technical consistency and quality.
- Identify, evaluate, and apply technologies and new features that improve existing and upcoming products.
- Collaborate with senior development and functional stakeholders to simplify and integrate products.
- Help develop Software Engineering governance and performance-management processes.
- Develop and deliver training and education for users, engineering colleagues, allied groups, and stakeholders.
- Identify proprietary intellectual property and recommend patent applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- 13+ years of relevant system software product development experience.
- Hands-on experience with C, C++, VC++, data structures, Microsoft debugging tools, and Windows crash dumps.
- Experience with Microsoft WinDbg, CDB, Visual Studio IDE, and Intel oneAPI IDE.
- Experience with operating systems, system-level programming, E-Mode architecture, and multiple instruction set architectures and platforms.
- Experience with Windows and Linux.
- Extensive experience with compiler internals, including syntax processing, optimization, and code generation.
- Experience with profiling tools such as Intel VTune, Windows Performance Analyzer, OProfile, Valgrind, or prof/gprof.
- Ability to evaluate and propose new product features and collaborate effectively as an individual contributor and technical leader.
- Exposure to a DevOps culture is an added advantage.
