Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of scalable, high-impact provider-facing software solutions for enterprise healthcare platforms.
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications using backend and frontend technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, React, Angular, and TypeScript.
- Design scalable distributed systems, microservices architectures, secure application architectures, and high-availability services.
- Modernize legacy applications into cloud-native services and design REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment infrastructure using Jenkins, Git workflows, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Lead complex technical initiatives, translate business requirements into scalable solutions, and coordinate cross-functional execution.
- Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote engineering standards and best practices.
- Design and manage relational and NoSQL databases and implement event-driven messaging solutions.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of software engineering experience delivering enterprise-scale full-stack applications, preferably including healthcare provider-focused initiatives.
- Expertise with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Node.js, React, Angular, TypeScript-based frameworks, REST, GraphQL, and microservices architectures.
- At least 5 years of experience designing and implementing scalable distributed systems and microservices, including legacy modernization into cloud-native services.
- At least 3 years of experience designing and implementing secure, high-availability application architectures.
- At least 3 years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, including Jenkins, Git workflows, and infrastructure-as-code.
- At least 3 years of experience leading complex technical initiatives and collaborating cross-functionally.
- Experience mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, and driving engineering best practices is preferred.
- Strong database design and data management experience with relational and NoSQL technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, and MongoDB is preferred.
- Experience with Agile environments, event-driven architecture, messaging systems such as SNS and SQS, and accessibility standards such as WCAG is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience; postgraduate education is preferred.
