Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise security controls using risk-based methodologies and standards including ISO 27001, SOX, and PCI-DSS.
- Implement and maintain AWS and Azure preventive controls, resource locks, network segmentation, security groups, and related cloud guardrails.
- Monitor cloud environments for misconfigurations, anomalous activity, and threats using CloudTrail, Azure Monitor, GuardDuty, and Defender for Cloud.
- Administer and mature Active Directory and Entra ID environments and monitor identity and access management systems.
- Coordinate firewall changes with network and infrastructure teams for projects, deployments, and architecture changes.
- Maintain DLP tooling and mature Secure Web Gateway and Cloud Access Security Broker systems.
- Automate repeatable security tasks and develop tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Support escalated security incidents through investigation, containment, remediation, and root-cause analysis.
- Identify security gaps and maturity opportunities through self-assessments and control reviews.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Deep technical knowledge of threats, vulnerabilities, and security controls.
- Hands-on experience implementing, tuning, and operating DLP, IDS/IPS, firewalls, SIEM/SOAR, and endpoint protection tools.
- Practical experience responding to security incidents and performing root-cause analysis.
- Solid foundation in networking and infrastructure security.
- Experience with cloud-native security tooling across Azure, GCP, and Microsoft 365 hybrid environments.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Security Tools and modern security stacks.
- Relevant certifications such as SSCP, CCSP, CEH, CySA+, or equivalent are valued.
- Knowledge of sports betting markets, online gaming or casino operations, gambling regulations, customer retention strategies, or distributed systems and teams is desirable.
