Responsibilities
- Design and build automated testing frameworks for distributed microservice systems.
- Develop and maintain integration, end-to-end, and regression testing pipelines.
- Validate pricing calculations, product configuration, document generation, and other complex workflows across broad scenarios.
- Build tools that help engineers validate system behavior early and improve service testability, observability, and resilience.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines and automated quality gates to provide fast, reliable feedback.
- Investigate production issues and strengthen system reliability and correctness.
- Use AI-assisted development tools for test generation, debugging, and engineering workflows.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and platform teams to promote shared quality and automation practices.
Requirements
- Strong experience building automated testing systems for complex applications.
- Experience with distributed systems, microservice architectures, and integration, end-to-end, and regression testing strategies.
- Experience building or maintaining test automation frameworks.
- Solid programming skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, Go, Python, or a similar language.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated quality gates.
- A focus on system correctness, transparency, reliability, and long-term maintainability.
- A pragmatic approach to using AI tools while maintaining ownership of system correctness.
- Clear communication and collaborative working skills.
- Experience with or familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure, containerized services, gRPC, event-driven communication, relational or document-oriented databases, and React-based interfaces is nice to have.
