Responsibilities
- Own quality assurance tasks for multiple software projects and ensure software quality and reliability.
- Participate in design and requirements reviews to improve testability and usability.
- Lead testing efforts by developing and maintaining automation frameworks and scripts.
- Plan, implement, and execute database, integration, functional, and UI/UX testing.
- Analyze test results, identify improvement areas, and recommend process changes.
- Provide technical and process mentorship to less experienced colleagues.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software quality assurance experience focused on automation testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and tools.
- Strong programming skills in at least one language such as Python, TypeScript, or Java.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Pytest, or TestNG.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
- Strong relational database management system knowledge.
- Familiarity with Scrum or Kanban development methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, English communication, and collaboration skills.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience testing microservices, distributed systems, mobile applications, NoSQL databases, or event stream processing platforms is preferred.
