Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and continuously enhance automated solutions for functional, performance, and load testing of cloud-native services.
- Derive test strategies and scenarios from requirements analysis.
- Integrate test automation into development, build, and CI/CD processes in a DevOps environment.
- Develop, maintain, validate, and document test frameworks, environments, and automated test setups.
- Analyze and introduce suitable testing tools, frameworks, and automation technologies.
- Document test results and support the development team in delivering high-quality releases.
- Support and train colleagues in using and configuring test automation solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development and quality-assurance processes and take on project-related tasks.
Requirements
- Completed degree in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable field, or completed vocational training with relevant professional experience.
- Several years of experience in software development and/or test automation.
- Strong knowledge of modern testing processes and container-based development and operating environments.
- Proficiency in at least one programming-language stack, such as Java or JavaScript, is advantageous.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methods is advantageous.
- Analytical, structured, independent, and quality-oriented working style.
- Very good German and good English language skills, written and spoken.
