Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evolve AWS cloud infrastructure for enterprise-scale applications and services.
- Develop cloud architecture roadmaps focused on scalability, resiliency, security, and operational excellence.
- Build Infrastructure as Code solutions and automate provisioning, configuration management, deployments, and operational workflows.
- Design and maintain highly available compute, networking, storage, and identity services across AWS.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions.
- Optimize infrastructure performance, reliability, capacity, and cloud costs.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and enable DevOps practices and self-service infrastructure.
- Design and support cloud-native architectures using containers and serverless technologies.
- Implement secure-by-design cloud infrastructure and IAM best practices with security teams.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues across distributed systems and cloud services.
- Maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, standards, and architectural guidance.
- Mentor Cloud and DevOps Engineers and provide technical leadership for cloud modernization initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 7 years of systems, infrastructure, DevOps, or cloud engineering experience.
- At least 3 years of hands-on AWS engineering experience supporting production workloads.
- Strong experience administering Linux environments.
- Experience designing highly available and fault-tolerant cloud architectures.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Strong scripting or programming experience using Python, Node, or Bash.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across multiple engineering teams.
- Technical leadership, mentoring, ownership, and clear communication skills.
