Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain shared front-end libraries, tooling, and platform services used by multiple engineering teams.
- Build and support enterprise-scale Angular applications and reusable UI components.
- Maintain Nx monorepos, shared codebases, build systems, and developer tooling.
- Improve developer experience through automation, documentation, and engineering best practices.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and related tooling.
- Support deployment and release processes using Octopus Deploy and ArgoCD.
- Establish front-end standards for code quality, testing, accessibility, performance, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with application teams to identify platform needs and reduce development friction.
- Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions.
- Troubleshoot build systems, deployment pipelines, development tooling, and platform infrastructure.
- Monitor platform health and improve reliability, scalability, and developer productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong experience with Angular and TypeScript.
- Experience building reusable component libraries, shared services, or front-end frameworks.
- Strong understanding of modern JavaScript and TypeScript development practices.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, responsive web design, Git-based source control, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud-native development and deployment practices.
- Understanding of software architecture, modular design, and scalable application development.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Nx monorepos, internal developer platforms, GitHub Actions, Octopus Deploy, ArgoCD, Azure, AWS, automated testing frameworks, accessibility standards, Docker, Kubernetes, observability, and Agile/Scrum environments.
