Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain modern web applications using React and TypeScript.
Develop responsive, high-performance, highly interactive user experiences.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define and ship features.
Own frontend architecture and contribute to technical decisions.
Build reusable components and scalable frontend systems.
Optimize application performance, state management, and data-fetching strategies.
Contribute across the stack when needed to deliver end-to-end features.
Improve development workflows, tooling, and engineering best practices.
Create thoughtful experiences with loading states, error handling, and accessibility considerations.

4+ years of professional frontend engineering experience.
Strong expertise with React and TypeScript.
Experience building complex web applications at scale.
Deep understanding of state management and modern frontend architecture.
Experience working closely with backend systems and APIs.
Strong product sense, UX judgment, communication, collaboration, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in ambiguous environments.
Experience with real-time or collaborative applications is a plus.
Exposure to AI-powered products or developer tools is a plus.
Familiarity with advanced caching and synchronization strategies is a plus.
Startup or high-growth experience is a plus.
Design experience or strong visual product instincts is a plus.
Experience establishing engineering standards in early-stage teams is a plus.

Full-time employment with an ASAP start date.
Onsite role in San Francisco, California.
