Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable backend services using C# and .NET.
- Build and integrate APIs while applying secure coding, testing, and deployment practices.
- Develop and support applications in a fully AWS-based cloud environment.
- Build container-based and event-driven solutions using cloud platforms and messaging services.
- Manage cloud storage for data and file management.
- Contribute to GitLab CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployment practices.
- Guide technical decisions through code reviews and mentor team members.
- Own features and improve system quality, reliability, performance, observability, and scalability.
Requirements
- Strong experience with C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core.
- Demonstrated ability to lead the design and construction of scalable backend systems using cloud technologies.
- Experience designing, building, and working with APIs.
- Experience with managed databases such as Aurora PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
- Understanding of cloud security, networking, scalability, and high availability concepts.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including compute, containers, storage, messaging, monitoring, and logging.
- Experience with container-based deployments such as Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
- Experience using GitLab or similar tools for CI/CD.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in Agile teams.
- Clear communication and collaboration skills.
- Desirable qualifications include exposure to microservices architecture, system observability and monitoring, and distributed-system performance, scalability, and optimization.
