Base Salary
$180k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own infrastructure-as-code for cloud resources across AWS and Cloudflare.
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation across multiple environments.
- Build and improve observability systems covering metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting.
- Develop internal tooling and automation to improve developer workflows and reduce toil.
- Drive capacity planning, failure-mode analysis, disaster recovery, reliability improvements, and incident response processes.
- Collaborate with product engineers to create operationally sound systems and contribute to security and compliance initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, or SRE roles.
- Strong production coding skills in Python, Go, TypeScript, or Rust.
- Deep experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, including compute, networking, IAM, managed databases, and storage.
- Proficiency with Terraform, AWS CDK, Pulumi, and CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions or BuildKite.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, container orchestration, production workloads, and observability stacks.
- Understanding of distributed-systems failure modes and mitigation strategies such as blast-radius control, graceful degradation, and rollback mechanisms.
- Preferred experience includes regulated industries such as fintech or healthcare, ML pipeline orchestration, multi-tenant SaaS architectures, customer-specific deployments, and production incident response.
