Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and tools.
- Debug, run, and configure automation test cases.
- Translate use cases and technical specifications into automated test suites.
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on features and usability.
- Contribute to unit, end-to-end, validation, and user acceptance testing.
- Design test cases and strategies and create test data.
- Perform API and backend automation testing.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2–3 years of automation testing experience in product development.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- Strong automation coding skills using Java, Python, or another object-oriented language.
- Experience with Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, TDD, BDD, and Cucumber.
- Experience with API and backend automation testing.
- Experience with Jira, Zephyr, Postman, Git, and Jenkins.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
- Mobile automation experience is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and debugging skills.
- Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
