Responsibilities
- Design, execute, document, and maintain test cases using established testing frameworks and tools.
- Create and execute automated tests based on software and system requirements, maintaining traceability of results.
- Contribute to test scope, schedules, and execution plans under senior guidance.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and support debugging and root-cause analysis.
- Follow quality, development, and regulatory processes to support product compliance and quality.
- Communicate test progress, issues, and risks and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Apply development, testing, and debugging skills to improve test coverage and defect detection.
- Learn and apply new testing concepts, automation enhancements, model-based testing, and AI-assisted testing practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering, Master of Technology, MCA, or an equivalent accredited engineering degree.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience with vocational education in system architecture, system design, hardware engineering, or equivalent, or no prior experience with a bachelor’s degree.
- Experience with verification and validation testing in complex, system-level software environments.
- Understanding of quality specifications, regulatory requirements, requirements analysis, troubleshooting, systems architecture, systems integration, and system integration testing.
- Hands-on software test automation experience and awareness of current automation practices.
- Practical experience with Git, Artifactory, ADS, C#, and SpecFlow.
- Experience with server-based and distributed applications.
- Preferred certification includes Certified Systems Engineering Professional or ISTQB.
- Healthcare domain and interoperability standards experience, test automation infrastructure experience, and familiarity with SAFe or Agile ways of working are advantageous.
- Strong communication, documentation, quality, continuous improvement, and global collaboration skills.
