Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and support software enhancements and customizations for the Blue Yonder WMS product suite.
- Analyze customer requirements, propose technical solutions, create technical approach documents, and provide effort estimates.
- Prepare and manage software releases, rollouts, patches, release planning, schedules, and release notes.
- Provide technical inputs and high-level estimates for pre-sales activities, including risk assessments, quotes, and technical approaches.
- Collaborate with customers and project teams on requirements, specifications, proposed solutions, and solution demonstrations.
- Perform peer reviews, address review feedback, investigate and resolve defects, and deliver code fixes within defined SLAs.
- Provide on-site or remote support for go-live activities, dry runs, testing, deployments, and customer-time-zone needs.
- Provide technical guidance to assigned engineers and support end-to-end project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant discipline; MCA and MSc in Computer Science are also cited.
- 3 to 7.5 years of total professional experience.
- Experience with Java, Ext JS, JavaScript, and PL/SQL.
- Experience with test management and test execution.
- Familiarity with Blue Yonder, JDA, RedPrairie WMS, or other WMS platforms is advantageous.
- Knowledge of software development best practices, build processes, IDEs, database tools, source code control, and release processes.
- Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, Windows, Linux, Unix, command-line usage, and JIRA.
- Ability to use AI tools such as Cursor AI, Replit AI, and GitHub Copilot for development, code refactoring, and unit testing.
- Ability to evaluate competing solutions, provide technical guidance, make recommendations, and take ownership of end-to-end delivery.
- Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, customer relationship, and cross-functional teamwork skills.
