Base Salary
$135k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle, including technical discovery, product presentations, solution design sessions, and proofs of concept.
- Understand customer objectives, technology stacks, project requirements, and technical or business risks.
- Deliver customized, value-based product demonstrations and validate customer requirements against the Contentful platform.
- Assist with RFIs, RFPs, and security questionnaires while coordinating with internal departments.
- Relay customer feedback to Product Management, Marketing, and Sales.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and Customer Success Managers to support successful customer implementation and launch.
- Travel onsite with customers when necessary and contribute to internal projects that improve the Solution Engineering function.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Solution Engineering experience selling SaaS or related industry experience selling to marketing and marketing-adjacent teams.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical and business knowledge to mixed business and technical audiences.
- Experience with REST APIs.
- Preferred experience with a Content Management Platform or similar technology.
- Preferred familiarity with web technologies, cloud technology, performance metrics, security, and omnichannel digital delivery concepts.
