Base Salary
$83k - $222k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Epic environments.
- Lead discovery calls, provide level-of-effort estimates, and facilitate design sessions with business leaders and analysts.
- Create and fulfill EHR use cases while documenting business and functional requirements, workflows, and technical specifications.
- Lead documentation efforts for discovery and implementation, including use cases, business requirements, scope documents, gap analyses, and impact assessments.
- Work with project managers to identify project tasks and associated estimates.
- Support vendor upgrades, system changes, and environment maintenance procedures.
- Plan and execute testing, develop test cases, and document testing attributes and results.
- Analyze current-state processes and collaborate with clinical business and reporting users to create future-state processes.
- Identify and document process and data gaps.
- Bridge communication among technical and nontechnical project staff, customers, clinical stakeholders, and vendors.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of related experience.
- Required EpicCare Ambulatory certification.
- Strong experience configuring, designing, and supporting an Epic solution.
- Previous application configuration experience.
- Experience with test planning and execution, test case development, and project quality requirements.
- Experience working on large projects.
- Strong knowledge of clinical applications and the healthcare IT industry.
- Understanding of configurable applications and monitoring practices.
- Analytical, problem-resolution, interpersonal, and cross-functional communication skills.
