Base Salary

$83k - $222k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain Epic environments.
  • Lead discovery calls, provide level-of-effort estimates, and facilitate design sessions with business leaders and analysts.
  • Create and fulfill EHR use cases while documenting business and functional requirements, workflows, and technical specifications.
  • Lead documentation efforts for discovery and implementation, including use cases, business requirements, scope documents, gap analyses, and impact assessments.
  • Work with project managers to identify project tasks and associated estimates.
  • Support vendor upgrades, system changes, and environment maintenance procedures.
  • Plan and execute testing, develop test cases, and document testing attributes and results.
  • Analyze current-state processes and collaborate with clinical business and reporting users to create future-state processes.
  • Identify and document process and data gaps.
  • Bridge communication among technical and nontechnical project staff, customers, clinical stakeholders, and vendors.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of related experience.
  • Required EpicCare Ambulatory certification.
  • Strong experience configuring, designing, and supporting an Epic solution.
  • Previous application configuration experience.
  • Experience with test planning and execution, test case development, and project quality requirements.
  • Experience working on large projects.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical applications and the healthcare IT industry.
  • Understanding of configurable applications and monitoring practices.
  • Analytical, problem-resolution, interpersonal, and cross-functional communication skills.
