Base Salary
$119k - $187k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead companywide and complex technology initiatives involving infrastructure automation.
- Design and build automation for provisioning, configuration, deployment, and lifecycle management of network and cryptographic infrastructure.
- Create API-driven integrations between network platforms and internal systems.
- Develop automation frameworks and codify manual operational procedures into repeatable workflows.
- Automate product deployments, customer journeys, and APIs for load-balancing and other infrastructure services.
- Collaborate with network engineering and platform teams on architectural strategy.
- Use and validate AI-assisted tools for system design, coding, testing, analysis, and troubleshooting while accounting for security, compliance, privacy, ethical, and operational risks.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- At least 5 years of Python development experience using Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- At least 2 years working with private cloud or hybrid platforms and building complex infrastructure programmatically with Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Ansible and GitHub Infrastructure-as-Code tooling.
- Preferred qualifications include infrastructure-platform automation, self-service capabilities, operational workflows, Agile, CI/CD, DevOps, SRE principles, microservices, RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, React or Angular, Apigee, Temporal, Camunda, Cadence, Unix/Linux, database querying, Postman, and infrastructure services such as cryptographic key management, PKI, certificate management, or load balancing.
- Strong troubleshooting, operational support, and problem-resolution skills across distributed application environments.
