Responsibilities
- Execute automated functional, performance, integration, and acceptance testing.
- Maintain and expand automated regression test suites.
- Create reusable test scripts from requirements and software design.
- Identify product defects and write effective automated and manual functional tests.
- Augment test frameworks and test tools.
- Collaborate with agile team members to implement product features and enhancements.
- Support testing of small- to medium-sized features, user-experience improvements, and performance enhancements.
- Write, refactor, and modify high-quality, performant code.
- Participate in mentoring, technical training, and ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or an equivalent field.
- At least 2 years of experience developing and testing complex enterprise web applications.
- Proficiency in Java, XML, SQL, and REST APIs.
- Proficiency with or desirable experience in Jenkins, Selenium, TestNG, JMeter, Maven, SonarQube, TestLink, and FitNesse.
- Familiarity with ISTQB, test-driven development, and Scrum methodologies.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, customer-friendly attitude.
- Intermediate analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make well-considered technical recommendations.
- Experience with warehouse management systems or transportation management systems, logistics, supply-chain processes, and continuous integration and deployment is beneficial.
- Working knowledge of software testing and several testing frameworks and methodologies.
- Capable design skills that consider multiple perspectives and the ability to incorporate peer feedback.
