Responsibilities
- Build and integrate new APIs for Lendable’s collections function and other financial products.
- Create internal tools and supporting services for product expansion in the US.
- Deliver clean, idiomatic Kotlin solutions to complex engineering challenges.
- Contribute to collaborative architecture, design, and stakeholder discussions.
- Write comprehensive automated tests and continuously improve engineering team capabilities.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with Kotlin and recent hands-on JVM development experience.
- Ability to write simple, clean, idiomatic code and understand software architectures, abstraction, and interpolation.
- Experience with databases, including required relational database knowledge and preferably NoSQL experience.
- Ability to understand complex financial business domains quickly.
- Ability to write comprehensive automated tests across all levels of the testing pyramid.
- Understanding of Kanban is desirable but not required.
- Collaborative, pragmatic, rational problem-solving approach with strong relationship-building skills.
