Responsibilities
- Drive the full OLAP/OLTP migration from GCP to AWS, including data mapping and schema conversion.
- Design and implement data synchronization pipelines with strict SLAs.
- Implement the AWS data architecture, including dashboarding solutions.
- Execute large-volume historical data migrations with integrity checks.
- Create monitoring and alerting frameworks for data fidelity.
- Mentor peers and elevate the team's technical capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with clients on data governance and analytics requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in migrating data from BigQuery to Redshift and Cloud SQL to Aurora/RDS.
- Expertise in data mapping, schema conversion, and ETL/ELT pipeline design at enterprise scale.
- Strong knowledge of OLAP and OLTP systems, including dimensional modeling and transactional database optimization.
- Experience with AWS data services such as Redshift, Aurora, and Lambda.
- Familiarity with GCP services like BigQuery and Cloud SQL.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
