Sr DevOps Engineer
TransUnionResponsibilities
- Design, create, configure, and deliver cloud infrastructure environments using automation best practices.
- Automate infrastructure builds, operational processes, and the full software development lifecycle for application and infrastructure-as-code workloads.
- Develop and drive platform improvements while maintaining and monitoring production and non-production systems.
- Support technology assessments for automation and cloud migration.
- Ensure deployed product components address security, compliance, legal, information security, and privacy concerns.
- Automate business continuity and disaster recovery processes.
- Participate in a rotational 24x7 on-call schedule.
- Lead root cause analysis for service performance incidents.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of infrastructure-as-code principles and experience provisioning and managing infrastructure with Kubernetes YAML, Helm, or Terraform.
- Proficiency with monitoring and debugging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Kubectl.
- In-depth understanding of Kubernetes concepts including pods, services, volumes, deployments, operators, and stateful sets.
- Cloud experience with AWS or GCP is preferred.
- Experience working in Linux environments is preferred.
- Experience working in Windows environments is preferred.
- Strong coding and scripting skills, critical-thinking ability, organization, communication, and continuous-improvement mindset.
