Responsibilities

  • Develop, analyze, design, test, implement, and support new or revised enterprise application systems.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk assessments, and application development activities.
  • Monitor and control application development phases, including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation.
  • Consult with users, clients, and technology groups to recommend advanced programming solutions and support applications.
  • Design and optimize software solutions for performance and stability and troubleshoot complex problems.
  • Develop enterprise integrations using RESTful APIs and Kafka messaging.
  • Recommend and develop post-implementation security measures, including authentication and authorization controls.
  • Support cloud migration of applications, services, and data.
  • Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts and act as a subject matter expert for stakeholders and team members.
  • Follow operating standards, procedures, applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of full stack software engineering experience developing enterprise-scale applications.
  • At least 3 years of experience building web applications with Java, Angular or React, and Oracle or PostgreSQL.
  • At least 3 years of experience with enterprise integrations through RESTful APIs and Kafka messaging.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Elasticsearch, NoSQL databases, and caching solutions.
  • Expertise in software performance and stability optimization, troubleshooting, site reliability engineering, test-driven development, authentication, authorization, and security.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and preparing applications, services, and data for cloud migration.
  • Bachelor's or university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
