Responsibilities
- Lead development and implementation of robust verification systems and support the team’s ground-up platform re-architecture.
- Apply governance to solution design, code quality, coding standards, and adherence to team output.
- Drive scalable, maintainable, and performant systems that meet business needs.
- Act as a technical escalation point, including outside office hours, for the development team.
- Estimate work, produce solution documents, and ensure accurate effort portrayals and delivery.
- Understand and own technical solutions across development and production environments from low-level implementation through live operation.
- Collaborate with managers, architects, and other stakeholders to create fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Mentor and coach team members while distributing technical knowledge.
Requirements
- Commercial experience leading development solutions.
- Knowledge of Kafka, SQL, .NET, Golang, or TypeScript, or similar or alternative technologies.
- Experience mentoring and coaching a team.
- Experience developing high-availability, multi-browser-compatible, multi-user, service-based systems.
- Strong technical documentation skills and high standards for quality and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant discipline, or relevant professional experience.
