Base Salary
$203k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement new features across Crunchyroll’s iOS and Apple TV applications.
- Coordinate technical designs and decisions with the engineering manager.
- Coordinate with multiple teams and manage engineering dependencies.
- Ensure team tasks are completed promptly.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and maintain strong automated test coverage.
- Develop a comprehensive testing pyramid with the engineering manager.
- Collaborate with fellow engineers to improve their skills.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- Professional background using Swift and SwiftUI.
- Successful experience developing applications, games, or utilities for iOS/iPadOS.
- Familiarity with MVVM architecture and experience implementing it in iOS applications.
- Hands-on experience with XCTest or Quick/Nimble.
- Experience developing for memory- and performance-limited devices in multithreaded environments.
- Experience with networking protocols and RESTful APIs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience developing video streaming applications for iOS/tvOS.
- Preferred experience migrating from UIKit to SwiftUI.
- Preferred experience developing tvOS applications.
- Preferred experience with asynchronous programming using async/await, Combine, or RxSwift.
