Responsibilities
- Implement scalable public-cloud architectures across compute, databases, networking, storage, and observability.
- Build CI/CD and SDLC pipelines and automate cloud platform and application delivery.
- Modernize applications using cloud-native and hybrid application architectures.
- Engineer platforms and services across Google Cloud and AWS.
- Apply security-by-design principles and support compliance controls in a regulated environment.
- Serve as a technical lead, make technology decisions, and align team outcomes.
- Mentor, train, and upskill engineers while leading remote and cross-functional teams.
- Partner with product, application, data center, and operations teams to identify value opportunities and deliver solutions end to end.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of application architecture and cloud-native modernization experience.
- At least 5 years of experience with messaging, data, analytics, APIs, services, and data mesh.
- Developer experience across multiple programming languages, including Java and Python.
- Experience with multiple cloud platforms, including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience building CI/CD and SDLC pipelines using tools such as Terraform and Harness.
- Prior experience serving as a technical lead in a specialist domain such as container or data platforms.
- Experience working in regulated industries and a strong understanding of compliance and security controls.
- Ability to produce detailed designs and supporting documentation.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, delivery ownership, mentoring, leadership, and agile delivery skills.
