Responsibilities
- Deliver high-impact infrastructure projects.
- Mentor junior team members as they ramp up in the technical space.
- Collaborate with Home Infrastructure teams, especially in London, to deliver projects.
- Propose future investment opportunities for the team.
- Ensure high engineering quality across the team.
- Identify and submit memory optimizations and develop tools for understanding memory usage.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Five years of experience with C++ or Java.
- Experience developing platforms and infrastructure.
- Experience refactoring and working with legacy systems.
- Experience with memory or other resource optimizations.
- Preferred: experience with large, distributed infrastructure and working across multiple systems.
- Preferred: on-call experience involving production debugging.
