Base Salary
$128k - $204k/yr
Responsibilities
- Discover agency problems onsite and translate them into compliant, buildable solutions tied to mission outcomes.
- Design, build, test, deploy, and iterate AI agents, prompts, RAG workflows, evaluations, automations, integrations, and data pipelines using Axon’s platform.
- Configure, integrate, and extend DEMS, Fusus, AI Era, Records, and related systems within agency environments.
- Own customer outcomes across deployment, adoption, optimization, and ongoing production success.
- Drive hands-on user adoption, define success metrics, capture baselines, and measure workflow and mission impact.
- Troubleshoot onsite and coordinate root-cause resolution with Product, Engineering, Support, and Services.
- Assess operational workflows, lead mission reviews, QBRs, and strategic planning with agency stakeholders.
- Capture customer insights and workflow patterns, influence Product and Engineering roadmaps, and turn successful builds into reusable playbooks.
- Identify expansion opportunities based on demonstrated impact and partner with Sales on account strategy and post-sales onboarding.
- Maintain a consistent onsite presence of approximately 3–4 days per week.
Requirements
- Typically 8+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles, program management, operational transformation, or complex deployment environments.
- Demonstrated experience shipping working automations, agents, workflows, integrations, or AI-enabled tools in customer environments, including configuring products, writing integration logic, and delivering production-ready solutions.
- Ability to work across hardware, software, cloud, AI-enabled technologies, and integrated systems.
- Strong communication skills with technical teams and senior stakeholders, including command staff in mission-critical environments.
- Ability to take ownership and navigate ambiguity and competing priorities across Product, Engineering, Sales, Support, and Services.
- Ability to obtain and maintain CJIS compliance and follow security standards.
- Former law enforcement or military experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience in public safety, law enforcement, corrections, or other mission-critical operational environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with Records, Evidence, digital workflows, AI-enabled platforms, or integrated public-safety ecosystems is preferred.
- Background in forward-deployed engineering, solutions architecture, or large-scale operational transformation is preferred.

- Base pay range is $127,500–$204,000 USD, excluding bonus and stock awards.
