Responsibilities
- Assist clients with solving problems and maximizing the value of Redline products and services.
- Respond to production issues and provide workarounds when possible.
- Replicate customer issues and verify fixes for patches and releases.
- Manage production environments through upgrades, routine changes, proactive monitoring, and application performance tuning.
- Assess the impact of exchange-driven initiatives and participate in relevant weekend testing.
- Collaborate with development engineers, server teams, and network teams on troubleshooting and change management.
- Implement automation and scripting and continuously improve monitoring, inventory, and runbook tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Management Information Systems, or relevant work experience.
- Experience with financial-services front-office systems, market data tickerplants, order execution technology, and the global exchange technology landscape.
- Strong understanding of Linux and Linux performance tuning.
- Experience with Intel-based computer architecture and IT systems networking.
- Programming and scripting experience; Python, C/C++, or Java knowledge is a plus.
- Strong customer service, communication, teamwork, adaptability, and task- and results-oriented skills.
