Base Salary
$153k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and improve control plane services in Go for file and block storage.
- Contribute to the file system data path, focusing on NFS reliability and IO performance.
- Deliver file and block storage as first-class Kubernetes citizens with CSI driver features.
- Enhance reliability, durability, and observability of the storage stack.
- Debug production issues in distributed systems and implement lasting fixes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with compute, platform, and infrastructure teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in building distributed systems or storage infrastructure.
- Production experience with storage, databases, or file systems.
- Proficiency in a systems language, preferably Go.
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud-native infrastructure.
- Understanding of distributed systems fundamentals and strong debugging skills.
