Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement AI/ML models and algorithms for complex business problems.
  • Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation systems combining retrieval methods with generative models.
  • Develop and optimize vector embeddings for semantic search, recommendation systems, and natural language understanding.
  • Design autonomous agent systems capable of performing multi-step tasks.
  • Apply agentic design patterns and frameworks such as LangGraph, Agent SDK, or CrewAI.
  • Create reusable agent node libraries and extensible platform patterns for multiple business domains.
  • Design versioning strategies and unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks for agent workflows.
  • Deploy and monitor AI/ML models in production environments for reliability and robustness.
  • Work with large datasets, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
  • Collaborate with engineers on requirements, reusable components, code reviews, design discussions, and software development practices.
  • Research advancements in AI and machine learning and maintain documentation for models, algorithms, and processes.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with equivalent or preferred related AI, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering backgrounds also noted.
  • Approximately 5–7 years of software engineering experience focused on Agentic AI and AI/ML.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/React.
  • Understanding of AI/ML algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
  • Production implementation and deployment experience with at least two Agentic AI solutions.
  • Experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency with Pandas, NumPy, and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Experience with NLP, computer vision, or other specialized AI domains is expected.
  • Ability to solve problems independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience working internationally with globally dispersed teams and managing offshore technical development teams is an additional qualification.
  • Prior global life sciences or Product Development and Supply experience, plus strong communication and presentation skills, are preferred.
