$119k - $204k/yr

Responsibilities

Lead architecture for the Azure connected-vehicle cloud platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, performance, quality, and cost efficiency.
Develop cloud-native backend services, APIs, event-driven systems, data platforms, and real-time processing solutions hands-on.
Establish architecture standards, coding practices, and design patterns for maintainable, high-quality software.
Mentor engineers, provide technical guidance, and foster continuous learning.
Collaborate with embedded engineers and product owners to remove technical roadblocks and deliver sprint commitments.
Drive improvements in cloud performance, security, observability, and cost optimization.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
At least 8 years of experience developing backend software and APIs for cloud-native applications.
Strong programming skills in C#, .NET Core, or a similar programming language.
Experience with Azure Functions, Event Grid Namespace, Event Hub Namespace, Azure Web PubSub, Azure Communication Service, and Azure Service Bus.
Experience designing cloud data stores using ADX, SQL, time-series data, CosmosDB, and Redis.
Experience with event-driven architecture, messaging patterns, and real-time data processing.
Preferred experience with connected vehicle, automotive, industrial IoT, or telematics platforms.
Preferred experience managing and optimizing Azure cloud costs.
Preferred experience deploying containerized services with Docker and Azure Container Apps, and using GitHub Actions and Terraform Enterprise for CI/CD and infrastructure as code.
Preferred experience designing secure and observable cloud services with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to lead through ambiguity and mentor engineers.
