Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end SAP ABAP Workflow architectures aligned with enterprise standards.
- Develop technical designs and specifications for maintainable and scalable workflow components.
- Provide hands-on guidance on ABAP Workflow implementation, performance optimization, error handling, and modular coding.
- Translate business requirements into workflow models and technical solutions that reduce manual work.
- Optimize existing SAP ABAP Workflow configurations and custom developments by analyzing runtime behavior.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to validate designs and integrations.
- Conduct technical reviews and system impact assessments covering security, compliance, and quality.
- Coordinate unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution for workflow components.
- Prepare technical documentation and solution diagrams for knowledge sharing and maintenance.
- Monitor production workflows and incident trends, and propose continuous improvements.
- Participate in architectural forums and design discussions aligned with SAP technology roadmaps.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in SAP ABAP Workflow configuration and custom development, including complex workflow design.
- Solid experience with core ABAP programming, modularization, object-oriented concepts, and performance tuning.
- Practical exposure to multi-channel business processes or customer engagement scenarios.
- Knowledge of broader SAP modules and integration concepts.
- Experience with structured delivery frameworks such as agile or iterative models.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Preferred: SAP Certified Development Specialist for ABAP or an equivalent SAP development credential.
