Responsibilities
- Develop and engineer end-to-end system features from the user experience through backend code.
- Build scalable web applications using server-side development skills and Node.js.
- Design and integrate RESTful APIs and work with database systems and data modeling.
- Act as a subject-matter expert, collaborate with and manage the team, and make team decisions.
- Collaborate with multiple teams, contribute to key decisions, and solve problems across teams.
- Lead the adoption of best practices to improve team productivity and quality.
- Mentor junior team members and support their professional growth.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of professional experience.
- At least 5 years of experience with Node.js.
- Proficiency in Node.js and server-side development.
- Experience building scalable web applications.
- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
- Familiarity with RESTful API design and integration.
- Knowledge of database systems and data modeling.
- Ability to work with version control systems and collaborative development workflows.
- 15 years of full-time education.
