Responsibilities
- Design and develop sophisticated agentic AI systems for autonomous decision-making and task execution.
- Architect and implement production-grade AI solutions using Azure services.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions.
- Develop scalable data-processing workflows with Azure Databricks and Apache Spark.
- Implement unit, integration, performance, and other comprehensive testing strategies for AI applications.
- Optimize AI agent performance, reliability, and cost efficiency in production.
- Design monitoring, logging, and observability solutions for AI systems.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead technical discussions on AI architecture and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI agents into existing systems.
- Implement security practices using managed identities, Key Vault integration, and RBAC.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, including at least 2 years focused on agentic AI or autonomous systems.
- Expert proficiency in Python and advanced knowledge of SQL.
- Deep knowledge of Azure cloud services, including Azure Functions, Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, App Services, Storage, and Key Vault.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Azure Databricks for large-scale data processing and machine-learning workflows.
- Demonstrated experience deploying and maintaining AI systems in production.
- Strong experience building CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes/AKS.
- Strong foundations in machine learning, natural language processing, and deep learning.
- Experience with large language models, prompt engineering, multi-agent systems, and RAG architectures.
- Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, and Transformers.
- Experience designing comprehensive test suites and debugging complex distributed systems.
- Understanding of software engineering best practices, clean code, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Experience with Application Insights, Log Analytics, and Grafana.
- Preferred: Azure AI Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect certifications.
- Preferred: experience with microservices architecture, MLOps practices and tools, vector databases, and semantic search.
