Responsibilities
- Analyze technical requirements and identify comprehensive test cases.
- Design and execute manual test plans for software products.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Test web applications across multiple browsers and platforms, APIs, databases, mobile applications, and complex system integrations.
- Identify, document, track, retest, and support resolution of defects.
- Provide test reports and KPI-driven insights on coverage, defect trends, and product stability.
- Collaborate with product, development, and cross-functional teams to define testing requirements.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote testing best practices.
- Recommend process optimizations and testing tool enhancements.
Requirements
- 4 to 8 years of experience in manual software testing.
- Experience testing complex enterprise applications across multiple platforms.
- Strong experience with regression, functional, and user acceptance testing.
- Expertise designing and executing manual test plans from technical and business requirements.
- Experience with bug-tracking systems such as Jira and test-management tools such as Spira.
- Basic SQL skills for data validation and troubleshooting.
- Ability to create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Leadership ability to mentor junior QA engineers.
