Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications and systems supporting the product.
- Develop Java server-side applications and maintain frontend user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Design and maintain APIs, integrate frontend components with backend services, and optimize relational database schemas and SQL queries.
- Write automated tests, debug frontend and backend issues, and participate in peer code reviews.
- Use Git or GitHub, Maven, Gradle, JIRA, and Confluence throughout the development lifecycle.
- Configure and maintain CircleCI build and deployment pipelines and resolve pipeline issues.
- Collaborate with product, design, and business stakeholders on requirements, technical specifications, architecture, and documentation.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and deliver incremental updates in iterative development cycles.
- Research tools, frameworks, and practices that improve operational efficiency, system performance, and user experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the offered role, Software Developer, Software Engineer, or a related position.
- Five years of experience with component-driven software architectures using a backend language such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Five years of experience with Agile, Scrum, or other iterative unified processes and with version control systems.
- Three years of experience with the Java ecosystem, including Spring Boot and Micronaut.
- Three years of experience with software testing frameworks such as JUnit, Git or GitHub, JIRA, Confluence, CircleCI, Maven, and Gradle.
